Bright and cheerful penthouse apartment with large terrace in Barcelona's old neighbourhood of Gracia
Perfect for a couple with two childern or three adults, this comfortable and relaxing one bedroom apartment is located in the lively and youthful Gracia neighbourhood of Barcelona. The large private terrace has commanding views of Barcelona's skyline and sea. Enjoy a local bottle of Penedès wine, coupled with tasty local fuet and cheeses while soaking up the Barcelona sunset.
The area surrounding the apartment:
The Lindes apartment is situated in the heart of the Barcelona district called Gracia. Little more than a village in 1820, it was connected to Barcelona by a country lane named Passeig de Gracia. This street is now known as the fifth avenue of Barcelona with shopping of all kinds to satisfy anyone's needs. The area is quite different from its well developed and spacious neighbour: the urban plan of Exiample. Instead it has meandering streets and attractive small squares where locals meet and chat. The most important of these is the Plaça Rius i Taulet which is the site of the pre-1897 town hall and magnificent clock tower. But the most well known of all the sites is Gaudí's much visited Parc Güell, this incredible fusion of Modernism and urban leisure is the ideal way to spend an afternoon during your visit to Barcelona. The apartment is a penthouse retreat with elevator and commanding views of Barcelona city Its accompanying private terrace is quite large (approximately 35m2) and allows the guests staying at this Barcelona apartment a spectacular sunset every evening This substantial terrace is for the sole use of the guests staying at the Lindes apartment The bedroom has a double queen sized bed and opens out into the living room area The living room contains a double pullout sofabed which would comfortably sleep two children or one adult
The kitchen has been newly installed and is fully equipped with vitroceramic counter tops, and all the commonplace items like washing machine, oven, fridge, microwave, pots, pans, coffee machine, juicer, toaster etc The bathroom comprises of a shower unit and sink The apartment is fitted with heating and guests can be entertained by the TV and CD player/stereo All linens and towels are provided as well as an iron and ironing board
